Organic Cinnamon Leaves, hand picked, air dried. Grown in Western Jamaica in the St. James/ Trelawny area.

-Most everyone has tasted the pungent spiciness of Cinnamon powder, which is derived from the bark of the tree, however, few have enjoyed the smoother, sweeter, more subtle flavor of Cinnamon Leaves.
-Often used as a flavoring ingredient for baked goods and desserts. In Jamaica the leaves are traditionally used to flavor cornmeal porridge and jerk marinades and rubs. An excellent substitute for Bay leaves in any stews, pilaf or curries.
-Makes an excellent tea. Cinnamon leaves have been shown to have analgesic, aphrodisiac and antiseptic properties. They may also help with nausea and digestive issues as well as blood sugar balance.
